Born and raised in Sunnyside Singapore the two young brothers Big C and Little L started this blog; that is authored by their Father with intention to document their lives.

It is written through the boys eyes and has reached over 5million views which continues to rise.

Featured as one of Singapore best blog in 2012; it is also now recognized as a must read parenting websites, oth locally and globally

As it flourished from the early days of childhood this pro journal family developed it into a really neat blogsite that offers diary entries, parenting tips, travel experiences, family lifestyle, and much more. As their old man edits and manages the blog in his free time and any found time he hopes that one day the boys will be able to share it with their own kids and spouses.

TWD may be a bit confusing at first but after a few reads it is easy to see the pattern that’s developed organically overtime. If you are looking for good ol’ family brains documented for your pleasure to read you are in the right spot.

The family doesn’t claim to be social influencers or so lively in the blogging world but they do jot down and document valuable information as they grow and learn as a family.

BigFamilyLittleIncome.com

Big Family Little Income isn’t your usual family blog. Firstly, it’s written by Australia’s largest daddy blogger, me – although I am attempting to lose a few kilo. Secondly, I don’t pretend our little family is perfect. We simply wouldn’t even know how to fake it. So the posts are full of mishaps, missteps, mistakes and our four little misses (and one master). And the very occasional cuss word – because kids. Thirdly, after life slapped us upside the head by nearly taking my wife away from us at the end of 2015, we bought a bus and the seven of us are now travelling and working our way around Australia on a whim, a shoestring and the odd witty remark. So now we’re living the dream we never knew we wanted and appreciating every single day adventuring with our kids. Because life is a gift and this family is my world.

DId you know the number of blended families now exceeds the number of nuclear (traditional) families in the United States? Did you know the divorce rate for blended families is nearly 70%? These figures seem to foreshadow the divorce rate possibly remaining at current levels if not increasing.

It’s from these statistics grew my desire to help reverse the trending divorce rate. In the end, the true victims are the children. It shouldn’t be a surprise to now see young adults preferring to live together rather than get married. Young couples now delay marriage if they decide to so at all.

In 2011, I started the website Support for Stepdads. I feel have insights as to why the divorce rate for blended families is so high. Many couples remarry with many of the expectations and hopes they had for their first marriage. You only have to look at the blended family divorce statistics to realize marrying into a blended family is not the same.

Through my website, I share my insights as well as the insights of others. By providing realistic information on stepfatherhood and blended family life I hope to better prepare men and women considering becoming a blended family. Also, to provide current stepdads and wives with information on the dynamics unique to the blended family. Again with the goal of providing them with tools and strategies necessary for coping with life in the blender. The website is for stepdads, aspiring stepdads and the women who love them.

I love being a stay at home mom no matter how challenging it can be sometimes. Our oldest daughter was diagnosed with Autism when she was 4 years old. She is now 16 and even though she still has certain daily struggles not limited to social interactions and situations. Every day is a new learning experience. We also have two boys, one is 11 years old and our youngest just turned 8 years old.

I have always liked to write and I have even dabbled a little in writing children’s books but I never really got anywhere with it. I think that’s what made it so easy for me to start my blog in the first place. When I first started writing DustinNikki Mommy of Three, I was writing product reviews. Product reviews on things my family has used including baby and kids items, household and beauty items and more. After a while I wanted to expand my topics to family and parenting as well.

When I am not writing product reviews or running giveaways, I am posting about my kids and family. Since our daughter has autism I like to share things that may be helpful to other families. I have also written a few articles about food allergies. Food allergies can be scary stuff and after we found out about our older son’s food allergies, I also began sharing some tips about that too.

Some of the less serious stuff I have written about were crafts for kids, some DIY things, recipes and cake decorating. I also write about things we have done as a family, vacations and places we have visited. Why I love being a stay at home mom or just being a parent to these amazing kids we have!

Being a mom of two toddlers keeps me rather busy. At this stage of my life, I would say that takes most of my focus and identity. Of course I am more than just being a mom. In-between raising a family and managing a home, I have a husband and two blogs. It’s all fun and games (with a few tears now and then), and I’m trying to enjoy this time with my young family, as I know time passes all too quickly.

On The Mommy City, I like to blog about all things baby and toddler with a focus on products and services provided by local businesses. I share my experiences out and about with my family, as well as homemade and sewing projects. Having enjoyed the last few years living in Cape Town, South Africa, we made the decision to move to my childhood home of Knysna along the Garden Route.

Since moving to Knysna, I am enjoying travelling and exploring more of my interests including photography. It was inevitable that I would like to share these new experiences, and I have started a lifestyle blog, Lifestyle Rerouted. This blog is a great resource if you are visiting South Africa, as I share family friendly adventures and travel advice for parents.
